Vietnam Ultra Marathon (VIE)
Introduction
The fourth and latest addition to the Vietnam Trail Series takes place in Mai Chau, which is another amazing region before Moc Chau (VTM event in January) when coming from Vietnam’s capital city Hanoi. 75 km on the programme for ATM Championship and Grandmaster points. Two distinct sections when looking at the course profile: a bumpy but gradual uphill for 35km , followed by a long descent and a runable section to set some pace. There’s still a hillclimb of 3km to conquer with 10km to go, however.
As usual, Topas is organising shuttle busses from Hanoi’s West Lake area to the race venue and back.
